Stars Alejandra Guzmán, Cristián De La Fuente And Laura León Join Season 2 Of Hit Series ‘El Juego De Las Llaves’

Hit series El Juego de las llaves (The Game of Keys) is getting a new celebrity boost in Season 2. The show’s producers are adding more star power to its cast. Mexico’s “Queen of Rock,” Alejandra Guzmán, actress and singer Laura León and telenovela and film actor Cristián de la Fuente are joining the cast of Pantaya’s sexually provocative half-hour dramedy. Also coming on board the Spanish-language streaming service’s hit original scripted series are Barbara Lopez, Michelle Rodríguez and Gustavo Egelhaaf. 

Maite Perroni, Sebastián Zurita, Marimar Vega, Horacio Pancheri, Humberto Busto, Hugo Catalan, Ela Velden and Fabiola Campomanes, all part of the original cast, return to deal with the aftermath of the unexpected consequences of switching partners in an attempt to spice up their lives.

El Juego de las llaves, Pantaya’s first original production, debuted in the U.S. on PANTAYA and worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in August 2019. It was picked up for two more seasons in January.

Production of the series, which was delayed for months due to the pandemic, is now underway in Mexico. On instagram, star Maite Perrone posted the cast and crew have been “living in a bubble under strict measures to keep everyone safe.”

Guzmán, a Latin Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, internationally known for hits such “Mala Hierba,” “Hacer el Amor con Otro,” “Volverte a Amar,” among many others, has been a coach on La Voz… Mexico and La Voz in the U.S., the Spanish-language version of the singing competition The Voice, as well as for her television role in Una familia con suerte. 

León is a Mexican actress and singer known for her roles in the hit telenovelas Dos mujeres un camino, El premio mayor and Mujeres engañadas, whose theme songs she also sang.

Originally from Chile, de la Fuente has been the leading man in popular Mexican telenovelas, such as Amor bravío, Quiero amarte and Sueño de amor. He has also appeared in several English-language film and television series including, Driven, Basic, In Plain Sight  and CSI: Miami.

Barbara López has starred in several films andseries, including Netflix’s
NFLX
Desenfrenadas. Rodríguez has appeared in multiple films and series including FOX’s Run Coyote Run and Egelhaaf is known for his role in the series El vato.

El Juego de Las Llaves was created by Marisa Quiroga and developed by Patrick McGinley, Verónica Bellver and Corazon Films’ Sandro Halphen, alongside Amazon Prime Video and Pantaya. The new seasons of the series will be directed by Kenya Marquez, Javier Colinas and Roberto Fiesco and produced by Pantaya and Corazón Films. Eckehardt von Damm, Roberto Fiesco and Sandro Halphen of Corazón Films serve as producers.

Season 2 of El Juego de las llaves is expected to debut in 2021.
