UFC 250 Full Fight Video: Watch Amanda Nunes Become Two-Division UFC Champ

The UFC returns to Las Vegas for tonight’s UFC 250 pay-per-view event. At the top of the card, UFC women’s featherweight champion Amanda Nunes puts her title on the line for the first time when she faces former Invicta FC 145-pound champion Felicia Spencer.

Nunes, who is also UFC women’s bantamweight titleholder, is on a 10-fight winning streak. During that run she has defeated every woman who has held the UFC women’s bantamweight title as well as every woman who has held the UFC women’s featherweight crown.

Nunes began her MMA career with a 9-4 record. She has not lost since Cat Zingano knocked her out in the third round of their 2014 battle. During her current winning streak, Nunes has racked up five knockouts and three submissions.

One of Nunes biggest wins came in December 2018 when she moved up to 145 pounds to face Cris Cyborg. Cyborg, who held the women’s featherweight title at that time, had not lost a fight since her professional debut in 2005. She was a -230 favorite over Nunes, who was a +138 underdog.

Nunes showed no fear of Cyborg and attacked her from the early going of the bout. Nunes staggered Cyborg 45 seconds into the contest and then put the pedal to the floor and planted Cyborg on the mat for the finish 51 seconds into the contest.

The victory made Nunes the first two-division women’s champion in UFC history. Since her win over Cyborg, Nunes has defended her bantamweight title twice. her matchup against Spencer is her first attempted defense of the 145-pound crown.
