John Morrison has such great comedic timing.

The Miz and John Morrison getting Mandy Rose traded to Raw while attempting to steal the Money in the Bank contract are excellent heel tactics.

Given Otis’ rage, this beatdown did not call for a Caterpillar elbow.

Cesaro def. Gran Metalik

WWE is getting a lot of mileage over the infamous “Lucha Things” promo.

Poor Gran Metalik suffered from passive-aggressive coaching from both Kalisto and Lince Dorado, who were eventually sent to the back.

After months of teaming together, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura may have finally decided on a team name: The Fire.

A Moment of Bliss with Nikki Cross

They really buried the lead by having Nikki Cross cut a generic promo about becoming champion before getting into Alexa Bliss attacking her best friend mid-match and walking off.

Alexa Bliss is becoming more punk rock with every passing week.

Apparently Alexa Bliss’ trance is triggered by any mention of The Fiend. Still no update as to what word turns this curse off, but one suggestion would be “Husky.”

WWE went out of its way to remind viewers of Nikki Cross’ continued failures to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship, so if she loses at Night of Champions boy would that be hard to come back from.

Sasha Banks Responds to Bayley’s Attack

When WWE really wants to convey the emotion between two former best friend, it’s better than just about anybody.

The most-likely scenario for Bayley’s WWE SmackDown Championship defense against Sasha Banks is for Alexa Bliss to cost Nikki Cross the title, thereby allowing Bayley to move on to Banks while Cross is paired with Bliss.

AJ Styles def. Sami Zayn by Disqualification

It feels eerie to see El Generico and AJ Styles wrestling for WWE considering how much ROH has changed amid the ROH Pure Tournament.

All you have to do to be considered a No. 1 Contender is claim that you’re the real Intercontinental champion as this feud is headed toward a Triple Threat Match between Superstars who all feel they’re the real champion.

It’ll be interesting to see whether one or two Intercontinental Championships are suspended above the ring at Clash of Champions.

Big E Retaliates Against Sheamus

Big E is so convincing as a pissed-off babyface, I think the days of palling around with The New Day might be behind him afterall.

Big E made sure to come up with a nickname for “Larry” while beating him up.

Big E stuffed another man in the back of his truck and Adam Pearce—like he is with everything else—was helpless to sop it.

Given how little Roman Reigns has chosen to wrestle as a heel, Jey Uso might need Big E to hang around as an alternate should he leave his cousin hanging again.

Given who his opponents have been, Roman Reigns is still technically a babyface, which should officially change slightly before or after Reigns beats Jey at Clash of Champions.

I was surprised at how much offense Roman Reigns took, but seeing how strongly he came back almost erased that memory.

Jey Uso really needs to do a better job of reading the room when he’s around Roman Reigns.
