Alia Bhatt Rings in Her Birthday Celebration With Sister Shaheen Bhatt And BFF Akansha Kapoor

Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt ringed in her 27^th birthday with mid-night celebrations amid her close friends and family. She celebrated her birthday with sister Shaheen Bhatt and BFFs Akansha Kapoor and Meghna Goyal. The video from her cake cutting has gone viral on social media and has been shared by many of Alia’s fan pages and paparazzi pages on Instagram.

In the clip, she can be seen blowing off candles and then cutting two candles as her close ones sing ‘Happy Birthday’ song for her. Clad in a collar white shirt and green shorts, she looks excited as she celebrates her birthday.

In the pictures, Ranbir Kapoor cannot be seen but the couple’s picture from Taj Mahal Palace is surfacing on the internet. It looks like, the lovebirds celebrated Alia’s birthday with a dinner date.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. She also has Mahesh Bhatt-directorial Sadak 2, starring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is slated to hit the screens on July 10 next year. Apart from this, Alia is also juggling between RRR, and Takht, all set to release in 2020.

Talking about Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor essays the role of Shiva while Alia plays his love interest Isha. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Ranbir’s guru and Mouni Roy is essaying the role of an antagonist. The film also features Dimple Kapadia and Akkineni Nagarjuna in important roles. Brahmastra is a trilogy produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions.

A report in Mid-Day revealed that Shah Rukh Khan recently shot for a special role in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that is being produced by SRK’s best pal – Karan Johar. The daily quoted a source close to the development saying, “Shah Rukh’s character is one of the key highlights of the film and comes at a crucial point in the narrative. The film is a mix of fantasy and mythology, and it will be interesting to see how his scientist character helps Ranbir’s Shiva in his quest.”
