Bad Bunny’s New Album ‘El Último Tour Del Mundo’ Is Here!

Bad Bunny is giving fans another reason to be thankful, even if it’s following the Thanksgiving holiday. The Puerto Rican rapper unveiled his fourth studio album El Último Tour Del Mundo — which directly translates to The Last Tour of the World — on Friday (November 27).

Boasting features from Rosalía, Jhay Cortez, ABRA and Trio Vegabajeño, the 16-track project features predominantly reggaeton sounds with a combination of various rock genres such as alternative, punk and rock n’ roll. This is debatably one of the most versatile records Bad Bunny has produced in comparison to his other recent pieces of work, Las que no iban a sailr (released in May) and YHLQMDLG (released in February). It’s unlike anything music fans have heard from the artist, proving he can literally tackle any genre or sound he attempts. YHLQMDLG embodies more of what conventionally categorizes modern Latin pop — featuring and curating an array of thoughtful Puerto Rican reggaeton hits.

His song “Dákiti,” which is from the album and in collaboration with Jhay Cortez, was released this past October and went on to hit No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart and in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Upon releasing the body of work, he also released a visual for his new track, “Yo Visto Así.”

Most recently, Bad Bunny, who is one of Latin music’s biggest power players, was nominated for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album for YHLQMDLG and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Un Día (One Day)” with other collaborators Dua Lipa, J Balvin and Tainy.

YHLQMDLG made waves on the Billboard charts, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and becoming the highest-charting Spanish-language album ever.

Reaching new heights with his creativity and this project, Bad Bunny consistently re-creates himself as an artist. He not only dropped the tribute song “6 Rings” in dedication to one of his role models Kobe Bryant when he died in late January, but he also followed the material with three other separate projects.

If Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio maintains this amount of influential momentum, his career may reach higher heights far greater anticipated for the musician and may be on track to becoming one of the most influential artists of a generation.
